The Nebraska Examiner and Flatwater Free Press, both backed by similar funding sources to the Newbie and both fountains of hard left news, have been in existence for several years. The Examiner specializes in marijuana legalization. The Flatwater Free Press regularly makes up shit about Gov. Pillen. Both are in favor of open borders and the usual list of hard lefty causes. The Newbie online paper is entering a crowded news space.
