The general election is here, with voters turning out to cast their votes in races across the state as well as four statewide ballot initiatives. The Plains Sentinel will be covering everything from the Senate and the gubernatorial race to the battle for Congress and key legislative races. You can follow our live coverage throughout Election Day here.
In the meantime, get caught up on two last-minute Osborn(e) stories from yesterday. Former Nebraska football coach Tom Osborne told The Plains Sentinel yesterday that he has decided to unendorse a candidate ahead of today’s election.
In other Osborn news, The Plains Sentinel has obtained two more leaked audio recordings from inside the Dan Osborn campaign. In one recording, Osborn campaign manager Camilo Vilaseca discusses Osborn going to strip clubs as well as a possible divorce after the election; and in the second recording, Osborn jokes about handing out condoms to kids at parades. You can read our full write-up here.
Finally, Matt Johnson had a recap of some of Osborn and Ricketts’ final campaign stops and pitches to voters heading into Election Day.
