• The Plains Sentinel is a nonprofit news organization that exists to restore integrity and balance in Nebraska journalism. As part of our mission, we make our work free for use by other publications.

• We ask that if you use our work, you attribute it properly to the author and The Plains Sentinel, as well as include a link to the original story if it is republished online.

• Publications that republish our stories may not put them behind an online paywall.

• Publications are free to make minor edits for length and clarity, but may not alter the substance of the piece without first receiving written permission from The Plains Sentinel.
